Taliesin South Wing Restoration

with Harboe Architects, PC

Harboe Architects prepared construction documents for the restoration of the South Wing to correct for significant structural flaws. In select locations the building has settled by up to four inches. New foundations and helical piles will stabilize the structure. The architectural work will include roof replacement, stucco and plaster restoration, wood window, door, and trim restoration, as well as interior finish restoration. All of the new work will match details and finishes from the Period of Significance. Construction documents were completed in 2024 and The Frank Lloyd Wright Foundation is currently fundraising to execute the project.
